The Playoffs

Going to watch my first play-off of the season tonight. FC Halifax v Cambridge, 1st leg on BT Sport. FC halifax have had about 4 promotions in the last 5 years. They really have done well in trying to get back in the League.

Fancy an easy Halifax victory tonight.

Wigan v QPR tonight - Don't want either team to get promoted but I'd like Wigan to lose this match.

Derby comfortably disposed of Brighton tonight. Steve McClaren is one step away from the promised land. He has done a decent job at Derby.

Got to hope for a Derby win in the final. Definitely the better option. QPR could go into meltdown if they don't go up this season, and hopefully Wigan will fade away next season.

I agree but I just have a sneaky feeling QPR will end up going up. I was reading today that if Wigan don't go up they are in big trouble financially and Rosler will have to offload a number of top earners including Jordi Gomez, Al Habsi and Scott Carson.

I really hope QPR don't get promoted, It'll be great to see how they cope.  Derby were fantastic against Brighton the other day.

Rosler's tactics were spot on but there didn't seem to be anything left when Wigan ran out of steam as the match developed. They looked knackered and Rosler hadn't got any options to redress the balance.
