Do any of you still watch TV as a family?
I'm now a solitary viewer. I watch what I want,when I want.
From what I can gather from friends, they are just the same. The kids watch on a tablet or computer,or an iphone. They're very often watching the same programme in different rooms.
As a kid,we sometimes had three generations huddled round the box, laughing or arguing the toss, and generally having a good time.
Can't help feeling we've lost something.

We try to have film days with microwave popcorn and whatever the latest animated film is. Plus catchphrase is another one we watch as a family

Back of the settee. Always.

I remember when you had to actually get up to change channels.

My 8 year old is the same. He sits there watching people play minecraft or something called goat simulator? Can't understand it personally, but he can sit there for hours laughing his little head off if I don't drag him off it.

Kids these days.......

As an aside to this earlier post,I should mention that these two are the elder brothers of Paul & Barry, aka the Chuckle Brothers. Talent runs in the family.
