Hope is the killer.

It's like life.

It's a cruel trick that always ends badly.

Perhaps that's why Parky keeps saying "we can't rely on our home games to survive".
I find it irritating that our home form has been so much better than our away form as there's no reason why the same players should perform worse once they leave the Macron. It''s all in the mind and it's Parky's job to sort that out. We need a brainwashing coach.

Ok doesn't seem to be anything BTID can find to put up on Radio Nuts so if anyone is interested I'll post up tweets on the match to give people some idea of what is happening.

ok here goes -

No real threat or quality in the opening seven or eight minutes from either side

Really don't like Clough out left. Far better in the centre 0-0 4'
Great work from Morais, preferred to Flanagan at RWB, to win a thrown down the right 0-0
Sunderland having their first chance. Bolton boy, Ashley Fletcher 0-0 12'

Cloughhhhhhh 1-0

Goal 1-0 !!
From the left and all!!!

Wonderful delivery from El Postie, plenty of players in there, Clough seems to have claimed the vital touch

Whites have really got their tails up now

Morais wins a corner, which he'll take...
Well delivered but I think Wilbraham penalised by David Coote for his part in some jostling in the area
Andy Taylor wins a free kick out wide on the left - he was grappling for a throw -in

8:24 - Morais finds the head of Ameobi in the middle but can't get any power in his header to trouble Lee Camp

Just caught my breath. Clough causing all sorts of issues. 1-0

Ameobi gets his head to a ball but it's saved 1-0 '21

Zach Clough's goal was his first for Bolton since Jan 2017, in a 2-1 defeat at home to Charlton (his last game before moving to Forest)

I don't mean it to be harsh but someone's done me a good turn and I don't want to get him into any bother but anyone I know and trust I will happily share the link with.

I'm sure there are plenty of others who I don't know are trustworthy too - its just that I don't know them to know it.

Sorry to casual Nuts viewers.

Hope you understand.

Did Clough get a touch on the ball for the goal. Looked like a complete balls up by the keeper from my view.

Getting outplayed for the last 15 minutes (wasn' much better the other 30 in truth) half time came at a good time for us.

Nobody seems to know.

There's a link to the goal on twitter at the top of this page (post 31) but that's not any clearer either.

Just seen it. Guess he must have got a touch with some part of his body with all the Sunderland defenders claiming handball.

We need that  second goal, or I can see this ending 1-1.
