Sure there's major problems with our defence but guess what, good defenders cost money.

Who on earth is suggesting Pulis would leave Middlesbrough for us? I think you made that up.

But you carry on happy clapping, may I suggest you fire off a friend request to Alan Houghton.

We've just set a record for the most consecutive home defeats without scoring. How bad does it have to get before you accept Parky is out of his depth? If we haven't scored by Christmas will the clapping have slowed?

We've gone from top six to bottom three.  Something is wrong with that equation.

If I was working in a brothel they'd have to employ stewards to control the crowds.

It's a difficult job, no doubt about that. But most football jobs are.

But no, I don't excuse him. He's a football manager paid good money to get results. He isn't getting them.

His record in the transfer market is pitiful, how many players has he signed that have played to a consistently decent level? How many are worth more now than when they signed?

He released Morais, Henry and Le Fondre and none of the replacements have been any better.

He's signed Doidge for hard cash and hardly played him. Surely if you're going to spend money on a player for only the second time in 3 years you're going to sign one who is the first name on the teamsheet?

Can’t agree with that, I’d rather have Lowe and Oz then Morris and Henry.

I’d also prefer Donaldson over Wilbraham.

Le Fondre was a useful option, no world beater and I doubt he’d have had much affect on our recent results. Anderson let him go though, it was his decision apparently so why blame Parky?

The fact is we’ve made good signings when you consider the pool we’re looking in and the consistent shambles behind the scenes.

But we lost a £6 million striker last year who scored all of our goals and haven’t replaced him. It’s not an easy thing to do with budget, never mind without.

But neither of those players have done anything. I accept Oz might turn out to be a decent signing in the long-term but right now he looks lost.

Henry just had a way of controlling things when the chips were down. Again, no world beater but it was no coincidence that our season turned on his signing. Lowe isn't fit to lace his boots.

As for Le Fondre, he had the ability to change games - do any of our current strikers look like changing games?

Nonsense about Oz, he needs a goal but he’s the best midfielder on the ball we’ve had since Holden. It would look a very different story if some of the chances he’s been creating had been finished off. Far better option than Morais at this level.

I’d have liked to keep Le fondre but I can see why anderson got rid, he could never have played every game for us. He got 7 goals last year Magennis already has 4, he’s replaceable.

I disagree about Oz, but hope you are right. Ironically he'd probably look better if Le Fondre had been playing to put away the chances.

Morais is better than Noone, Buckley and Wilschutt. At least he contributed. Half the problem is we are so poor on the wings that no crosses are coming in. If Magennis had some decent crosses to attack I suspect he'd look better than he does trying to get a head on hoofed balls from the back.

The only winger we have that is any good is Ameobi. Noone and Buckley are poor and Wildschut is very inconsistent as well. If the wingers aren't performing then we need to find a way of playing without them.

An even bigger problem for me is that when we do get a cross in there's no one on the end of it. The way Parkinson has set the team up and his constant chopping and changing seems to have had the effect that too many of our players can't 'read' each other and don't know what's going to happen next or where the ball is going to be.

As I've said before I also believe confidence is in the gutter and both those situations have to be blamed on the manager. Whether we like it or not, whether or not it cuts into revenue I believe it's now vital that we make a change so a new manager will have time to assess and properly use the players we already have plus decide who he wants from the admittedly limited pool of outsiders we can afford. I hate to say it but if Parkinson is still here at Christmas I believe we're certain to be relegated. He has to go and now.

What manager in his right mind would come to us at this moment. At best somebody from a lower league or currently unemployed. We have so-called good manager from a lower league right now. Unemployed blokes have been fired for being useless at their own clubs.
As I always say I would go for a foreign manager maybe from Italian/Spanish lower half teams. But without any cash to pay him...….I'm stumped.
A new manager bump is the best we can hope for I suppose no matter who it is.

An unemployed one.

£250k+ a year guaranteed, or nothing? Tough call.

Parkinson left Bradford for a chance at a bigger club with a bigger wage bill to play with, so I would think the  majority in Divs 3 and 4 would be interested.
Parky just isn't able to overachieve very much with his wage bill and we need one who can.

I read somewhere that in Parkinson's time in the championship with Bolton, Charlton and Hull he has had 129 games and won just 22 that in itself is appalling, how he thinks he can turn our situation around is beyond me.

That's some statistic there Martin, and not a very good endorsement of his managerial abilities.

Sounds good on paper....but upon closer inspection you are suggesting that a manager from the 4th division which is not much higher than the local pub team is the man for the job at the mighty whites.
We can't get a bloke from the lower divisions because most on here would be saying that he is out of his depth after three games. We can't afford to take any Champs managers from their clubs....therefore we are left with unemployed ex-champ or may ex-prem managers at best.
I'd look for an up and coming bloke from the Spanish second division....how do you do that....no idea....that's Ken's job.  ..dunno..
