WTF is going on with TV these days?

So I’ve just turned the telly on and it brings up a man spreading on a sofa and tossing off on Channel 5. 

The channel got switched over in a flash.

Do people seriously watch this shit? 

Is this what people want to see on the telly these days?  

I was about to indulge in a bag of Maltesers and a Turkish delight.

I have now gone off them as you can imagine!

Note to CH4. I don't want a walk in bath. Or a stair lift. Nor do I want a mobility scooter, that would enable me to pop down to the post box, whilst at the same time waving merrily to other poor bastards on mobility scooters, who are probably all scuttling down to the corner shop to buy a bag of Werther's Original.
I don't want an armchair that is an ejector seat for geriatrics, nor do I wish to put my feet on a vibrating, electrified flying saucer to increase my blood flow, so Mr Botham can kindly piss off.
And I certainly don't need a hearing aid that only I know I'm wearing.

I’ve got to say that I’m glad that Thora Hird stopped doing those adverts.

Some of the ads are better than the programmes.
