Just 100 days to the World Cup.

Apparently the countdown to the World Cup started today - in 100 days it kicks off.

Anybody looking forward to it - I can't see England doing much in it myself.

Who do you think will win?

I fancy the hosts although Argentina and Spain cannot be ruled out. I think the best European team will probably be Belgium. They have a tremendous young squad with some real quality players.

I think Spain will win it comfortably.

Wouldn't it be great if Iran won it.

Germany is my team in this World Cup, I think if you qualify'' but you won't'' we'll hammer you .

I am honestly going to buy myself a German top.

Argentina for me. Portugal dark horses.

Unfortunately I can't see past the Argies winning it.

Well it depends if you're a good boy!

He won't be here, when I get the Mods job, next week, you'll have to go on the dingle forum if you want to speak to him.

There isn't much to do when the season finishes in May so I will be watching the World Cup with interest. If Roy can pick the right blend I think we can realistically make the quarter finals.

You should listen to a Greek talk about Portugal 2004. It was one of those go into the street and hug a stranger days, even for people that didn't normally like football. There'd be none of that in Spain if they won it.

Didn't Denmark do a similar thing by winning the Euros against all odds when Peter the Great was in the nets?

I can't remember now but I think it was Euro 92 and the Danes beat Germany in the final. I'm pretty sure Germany played their qualifying games at Old Trafford but I could be wrong.

I reckon England will win the world cup as there is less expectation than in previous years.

Ricky Lambert will score the winner against Brazil in the final.
