If Coyle gets sacked, would you take Sammy Lee?

If we lose against Watford and Coyle gets the boot then I can really see the board appointing Sammy Lee as an interim boss - and then it would become permanent. Would you be happy with that?

And if not, would you rather have Sammy Lee or Coyle if they are the two choices?

I went to most of the matches under Sammy Lee and the football was a hell of a lot more exciting.

Well we're not Chelsea, are we? If Coyle does get sacked I would expect it to have been coming for some weeks in advance, and would hope a replacement had already been identified and sounded out. I don't see the rush to sack someone if you're going to replace them with someone else who can't do the job for several weeks, you might as well keep the original person on.

Actually Sammy got short changed IMO .... he inherted crap and fat phil panicked to get rid too soon. Somewhere months ago I read some statistics that said we were better under Lee than Mugson & OC .....whether or not that is true I don't know. The football seems worse right now. As caretaker I'll give him another shot.

No, even Megson wasn't as bad as Lee.

Lee made the mistake of trying to change things too quickly. It's a shame really, as he wanted to play proper football and not the shite we've had under Megson and Fanny.
