Bolton 2-1 Burnley

So now that Dougie has told us that we're not in trouble and we're going to "springboard" up the table, can we expect the great comeback to start on Saturday?
The Clarets are sitting just outside the playoff places 9 points ahead of us (although we have a game in hand on them) but our target for a playoff place is to bridge a 12 point gap overall.
On the one hand, we are shit and our new players are unproven and not integrated into the team as yet. Panic is in the air and general discontent with the performances, selections, system and management prevail. And Burnley are half decent on their day with a couple of handy strikers offering a real goal threat.
On the other hand, we apparently have "quality" and we're playing at home.
So what are we going to see at the weekend? A semblance of form and a solid performance from the usual suspects to see off our rural acquaintances and claim the requisite 3 points?
Or another disappointing loss characterised by defensive errors and inability to take our chances?
Or even a new - look team featuring a plethora of new signings and players returning from injury ready to take the league by storm?
Or something else?

A win for us - with a few new faces playing...

It'll be a draw. Bet on it.

Definite win. I full expect dougie to shake things up by dropping spearing, ream and eagles for kamara, Dawson and de ridder.

I think we are due to give out a total mullering, like hipsters prediction above.

However, I also think we are due one and, knowing us... it will be against one of our local rivals just to make it a bit more embarrassing.

I think Peterborough at home could be a very one sided game in our favour, like you say, we give them out every now and then, and we're due.

For the Burnley game, I'm sticking with my draw prediction for now.

But this leagues about heart and spirit, which is one thing you have and we lack.
Still think we'll win though!

Very restrained response CD - as I would expect from you.
Not a bad team on paper. Watched Marney and Shackell playing for Norwich and they were OK although Shackell had quite a few Zat Knight moments at the back. Still, things have moved on and we'll have to wait and see how it goes. Definitely improved on last season I'd say - but I'm hoping our lads put on a performance and show you the door.

I expect we'll see the same Bolton team that lost at Watford, except for the return of Kevin Davies with Sordell back on the bench.

Hoping to see medo feature and see if he makes a difference!

Shackell was poor for us earlier on this season but has come on and is now looking a bit more like captain material. I would like Duff (might be injured) with Shackell for saturday because someone like Kevin Davies could easily bully Shackell (his weakness has been in the air).

Marney has been decent this season.
