Starts at Muirfield on Thursday.

Any golfers amongst us?

Who is going to win it?

Will Tiger roar again?

I'd like Lee Westwood, Dustin Rhodes, Luke Donald or Poulter to win it. Faldo is making a comeback at 56 years of age. He has won it twice before at Muirfield but hasn't played competitively for 3 years.

I'd stay well away from Westwood if you're having a few quid on anyone RT, he is and always be the nearly man IMO, good player but his short game is poor.

I still think he has a major in him before he retires. Young Rory McIlroy needs to up his game as well.

I'll be watching. I played loads of golf as a youngster. I won a couple of competitions and I got my handicap down to 12 when I was fifteen.

I love watching John Mcenroe's tantrums on youtube, it always make me smile. Smile

I think the Golf majors are a great sporting spectacle. The Open with all the Links courses and the magnificent splendour of the Masters are my two favourites.

I went to the training day of the Open at Lytham last season, I play golf but until you see how accurate and far the pro's hit the ball you won't realise how good they are IMO.

Used to play off 7 handicap. Stopped playing for about 5 years, played last week and went round in 83.

Had a bet on Luke Donald for the Open. £20 at 28/1.

3 Australians:
Jason Day 33/1
Adam Scott 25/1
Mark Leishman 250/1
and Bill Haas 80/1

Think Sergio Garcia has a good chance as well as Donald, been playing well recently and suited to Links golf.

Will be interesting to see how Rory gets on, he's had a shocker of a year so far.

Never rule out Woodsy though.

IIRC Garcia has never won a Major. He is another one who must be due a big win.

Anyone been watching the opening day?

Can't see Rory making the cut for the weekend at 8+.

My tip to win Mickelson seems to be going well at -2 with Woods.
