Think it's a bit of both because the shoulder he dislocated will have taken a couple of months to heal I would have thought.

There's the Queen Vic past the fire station that is usually a designated away fan pub.

It depends on how you are travelling in to Burnley really.

Right so you'll be coming into the Manchester Rd Station.

So there's the Brun Lea which is a Wetherspoons and has loads of different beers and ales on.


Inn On The Wharf which is just set back a little from Manchester Rd on the canal. An old fashioned feel of pub but have some good real ales on.

Or if you a Carling or John Smiths man and like Scampi and Chips then there is the Hollywood Star just set back off Manchester Rd next to the cinema and bowling alley. They have a Wacky Warehouse out the back if you fancy a dip in a ball pool.

The last time I went to Burnley A was on boxing day 'can't remember the year', I went on a club coach for some strange reason with my dad.

They stopped us on the motorway bridge for 45 min's , then the police drove us in by escort, when we got there, and walked off the coach there were a police cordon set up so we couldn't even get a beer, or go in any pubs.
