Holden Injured - VIDEO

20th minute versus Panama... not hit, but pulled up lame... they are examining his right knee and this does not look good.  Hopefully this is not serious... he did not get hit... but avoided a defender and fell to the ground.  He is on the bench and has been substituted for.  After two years, he is beside himself... his hands are covering his face.  He is on the bench holding his head.

He is now walking on the sideline... hopefully not serious.

I don't think it's serious just by the way he's sat on the bench, he's putting pressure on it and it hasn't been ice packed.

Reserve team player at best anyway.

To be fair I thought he might get injured in early July so every credit to him for making it this far this season.

The guy is simply injury prone. Nice guy by all accounts, but a disastrous signing.

i was really hoping with these games under his belt he would come back and be the player we know he can be, but yet another niggly injury puts him back again.

Bolton News are keeping quiet on this one, prob waiting for the true facts of the injury.

Having a scan later today, Jurgen Klinsmann said it could be a very serious injury.

Knowing our luck with injuries you just know its the end.

Did he sign a new contract?

He was supposed to sign it when he got back from this competition, the board would be either very brave or very stupid to still offer it him if the injury keeps him out for a few months.
