On the TV front Ashes to Ashes really disappointed me. Life on Mars was so incredibly brilliant so that may have added to the let down I felt in the follow up.

I agree. Life on Mars was excellent with Glenister and Simm. Ashes to Ashes without Simm was nowhere near as good.

I agree. Life on Mars was excellent with Glenister and Simm. Ashes to Ashes without Simm was nowhere near as good.
I agree. Ashes to Ashes just didn't work for me and I'm not a fan of Keeley Hawes either - although she was brilliant in Line of Duty.
