Would have thought he'd get at least the first half of next season. They mustn't trust him with their transfer kitty.

Can't blame them after that fiasco with Baines and Fellaini, then buying the wrong type of player for their needs with Mata for just a small matter of £37 million!

I do think he inherited a poisoned chalice although his purchases had the air of desperation about them. Fellaini doesn't look like the player he was and Mata hasn't got the legs or workrate required.
Main problem though was the high number of players past their best and not having top quality younger players to come through and replace them which Fergie had in abundance.
Not dissimilar to our situation at the beginning of this season IMO, but hopefully Dougie will be able to sort some of the mess out in the summer. 
Whoever Manure bring in will have a huge challenge but I suspect they'll throw serious money at it as they're loaded and desperate to get back into Europe. We, on the other hand, will have to scrape the barrel to improve.

According to press reports, failing to qualify for the Champions League next season has cost them £30 million in income. The Glazers are fine as long as the red machine continues to make money but if they start to slide then it starts to hurt them in the pocket.

It looks like the length of time that Fergie was given to turn things round is now a thing of the past.

I think he'll land on his feet to be honest. 

Sometimes certain managers just don't mesh at certain clubs.

I think he'll have another team in the top 10 of the premier league. He'd do well at a Fulham, Villa or even a West Brom IMO.

I quite liked Moyes.

Moyes is a Christian, I hope he's going to donate some of that pay-off to the church.
