On twitter a user asked the question to @PAGartside- "can you confirm please OC job is safe no matter what happens next two games?"

The reply "never in doubt".

Simple and easy as that. Personally I think it is exactly right for Bolton to keep Coyle despite what many fans think. I hope we stay up on Sunday but if we go down I think we would have an exciting season under Owen Coyle. You will see.

I think it's dangerous when a manager thinks he's 'Bombproof', especially when it comes from a chairman who should have his position at the club looked at, following the demise of the club in league placings and massive increases in the debt recorded since Big Sam departed.

I wouldn't take that tweet as gospel though Biggie. After the draw against Swansea someone tweeted Gartside to say the fans are concerned about the club's level of debt and would like clarification on the final position in the event of relegation. Phil's reply? "No debt."

Yes it's really PG, and yes i do believe Coyle will be "safe" whether we stay up or not.

that said, will he want to continue. His contract is shrouded in mystery and he's had a very very tough year all things considered.
