Only a fool would rely on Mark Davies. We should cancel his contract the utter ponce.

He should take up knitting.

knitting is far too dangerous for him, he would definitely stab himself with the needles Laughing

You're all being excessively cruel to the boy. He doesn't get injured on purpose.
Lay off him or I'll give your addresses to Angry Dad and tell him to sort you out!!

i do rate him as a player Rammy but he is far too injury prone and can't be relied upon. If he could stay fit he would be a great player but it's a very big if.

Agreed- but look at SJ's description of him- and that's a bit excessive

He's counting his money becoming even more selfish than he already is.

I reckon this should be his last chance.

If he's injury free and playing he can be a real asset. There's not many players in our squad as technically gifted as mavies and if he could get some consistency rather than picking and choosing the games he shows up in he'd be one of the best players in the division.

If he gets another injury, he can't say we haven't stuck by him long enough, he would surely have to go.

Personally I hope he does well because I rate him as a player. I'd rather he was playing for us than against us.

There's no point in debating Mavies in my opinion. He's under contract and nobody's ever going to buy him with his injury record.

When he's fit he's one of our best players so he'll play.

We'll go through a couple of years of 10 games then season-ending injury followed by what will most probably be his release.

Hmm big risk throwing him straight into the action, without a few reserve games under his belt - especially against a side fighting for the championship title.

Give him about 20mins on Saturday and see how he gets on.

I don't expect him to be in full form for these last few games. He has been out far too long to just pop right back in.  The purpose of the exercise is to get him fit and still do enough to impress Lennon. Since he is still under contract we should do our best to use him next season.

Some proper miserable fuckers on here.

Yes hes had problems with injuries but it doesn't necessarily mean he will continue to pick them up, with the right training plan he could finally put injuries behind him. Hope so anyway because he's world class
