My issue with it is that the government is doing nothing to actually solve the issue, it's typical of Cameron to be so basic he can't come up with a progressive answer to the problem. He's even prosecuting a migrant for trying to walk the channel tunnel, so he'll be locked up for a few months on the taxpayer then released. It's madness.

No, but I don't think many will end up in the UK.

As cruel as it is, you have to look after your own. And that's what the government is doing.

If Germany can take more in, we can do. It's yet another example of this callous Tory government who are more concerned with political point scoring than actually helping people.

I'm not against helping people at all but people struggle to get the treatment they need or beds in hospitals on the NHS. Then there's the dwindling police force and inadequate housing or no housing at all for people that need it. With all this already at breaking point I'm not sure we have the resources to help these people. Taxes could be raised but I'm already living on the edge and certainly couldn't afford to pay any more towards these things. Maybe Germany are in a better position to help them than us, I don't know. I do feel for these people but it would put an even bigger strain on our resources than there is already. It's a tough one.
