Preview: QPR v Bolton
SETTING THE SCENEBolton Wanderers travel to Queens Park Rangers on Saturday in their final match before the October international break.
Yet to find their form on the road, Neil Lennon will be keen for his side to pick up their first win on the road as they look to build on last weekend’s 2-2 draw with Sky Bet Championship league leaders Brighton & Hove Albion.
Meanwhile, hosts QPR come into Saturday’s match winless from their last four and keen to bounce back from a heavy 4-0 defeat to local-rivals Fulham in their last outing.
However, if they are to do so then they will need to perform without both Charlie Austin and Jamie Mackie after the duo were ruled out through injury for the foreseeable future after limping off against the Cottagers.
TEAM NEWSDorian Dervite and Derik Osede are both available following injury and suspension respectively, while Emile Heskey (hamstring) could also come into contention after missing last weekend’s game against Brighton.

Elsewhere, captain Darren Pratley (ankle) continues to progress with his rehabilitation while Zach Clough (shoulder) is a long-term absentee.
LAST QPR XI (v Fulham, L4-0)Green, Onuoha, Konchesky, Perch, Angella, Phillips, Chery (Mackie 35 (Fer 45)), Faurlin, Henry, Luongo, Austin (Tozser 59).
ONE TO WATCHHaving missed the start of the season through injury, Leroy Fer made his first appearance of the campaign as a substitute in QPR’s last outing away at Fulham.
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]The Netherlands international started his career in his native Holland with stints with Feyenoord and FC Twente, before first moving to England to sign for Norwich City in July 2013, having seen a winter move to Everton fall through the previous January.
Moving on to newly-promoted QPR the following year after the Canaries’ relegation to the Championship, the 25-year-old was unable to help the Hoops avoid an immediate return to the second tier.
After Fer saw a summer move to Sunderland fall through, Chris Ramsey will be reliant on the returning midfielder to help his side climb the table, even more so in the absence of Charlie Austin, with the Dutchman having the potential to be one of the Championship’s leading players when on form.
