Years ago I said the club should be sold ..... and was roundly scoffed at for ages....even up to last year and the beginning of this season people were still calling me a wum on this very board.
Anyway look at the state of mi fooking club now. Look the players have families and mortgages as well as us and I wouldn't blame them for walking. How many on here would work hard for nowt. It's just aggravating that they have to announce this right before the bloody game tonight.

Closer to the truth than you jest ..... Half of them would not get another job in football. The other half might end up in the lower leagues on a lot lower salaries. Hope the others have invested their cash.

If you stop paying them simply because you don't fancy it, you're breaking the law.

I think it's been missed here, that if the players weren't paid, then HMRC wasn't paid. These overpaid ponces are paid via PAYE. Tax and NI is deducted at source and paid to HMRC. If the players aren't paid neither was the tax man. If you think how much tax is now owed from 1 month of 24 players. Hmrc don't do administration, they do liquidation. Things are very bad indeed. Just be grateful if we have a club left by Christmas.
