RIP - Phil Gartside

Died today age 63, horrendous.

Awful news. I know a lot didn't like him but still sad news.

Sad when anyone dies, especially through stomach cancer at such a young age.

Thanks for the memories Phil.

RIP. ( I'm surprised so little information was provided by the club since he took ill.)

After some of the things that have been said about him on here and elsewhere, I hope some people are a little bit ashamed of themselves.

RIP. Very sad news, people might remember him for the bad times but he gave us some brilliant times aswell. Memories that will never be forgotten.

Burnley fans

RIP, and condolences to the family.

Eddies Davies just given a phone interview on sky sports saying they'll do everything to preserve Phil Gartsides legacy and that they'll make sure the club survives.

Very sad news. Not all fans liked the things he did and I'm sure none of us would have wished this on him. RIP Phil.

He has always been  held in high esteem by Lancashire Whites. Always very helpful and supportive with the supporters club.

A sad day in the saddest of seasons, whatever happens he helped to give us one hell of a ride. RIP Phil

Thanks for your dedication to the club Phil, things have gone tits up recently but you got us out of the shit when you was appointed and we had some great seasons under big Sam, rest in peace Phil and
condolences to your family and friends.
