How dare you. These players have had a tough Summer what with the jetlag from flying to 5 start hotels across the globe, having to buy at least three new cars, and shagging at least two mistresses each.

Give 'em a break.

Why on earth would they be match fit in their first pre season game?

Considering you go to the gym every day for 4 hours a day, you'd know it's impossible to replicate a match environment in there.

They'll be up to speed by our last pre season game.

I assumed anyone with "washboard abs" would have to spend a good amount of time in the gym. At least four hours a day.

Ngog didn't play because he had a slight back twinge.

They were match fit, sadly just not premiership quality.

Let's put it this way .... how would Utd's reserve team do against Aye? they would expect to win or at least be dominatant in the play. It's attitude and gumption ...we don't have it. Of course it's the first game but it's only a month since the last Prem game.....how unfit can you be?

As much as I want bolton to win every game lets be realistic, in a competitive game we would have beaten this lot quite easy but it's only a over hyped training match, nobody not even the players are too concerned about the result.

People are actually, genuinely bothered, by a friendly draw with Ayr where we made 11 subs...... Good god.

When I pulled on the famous pink and white shirt of Penwortham Girls School I gave 100% regardless of who we were playing, even if we were playing a crappy comprehensive like Moor Park.

Shame on Bolton.

haha! You've changed your tune, you didn't "even want to know the score"

+ "anyone who pays to watch a friendly is a bellend" or something similar.

face it, no one gives two shits about friendlies they're for match fitness and nothing else. Stop pretending you care now a couple of others on the board have.
