A big part of the problem here isn't with the site itself but with what's happening at BWFC
Everyone has at least one idea on how to solve it, everyone's convinved their idea is the only one that will work and that anyone who disagrees is an idiot. But we all know the fundamental truth.
There is nothing we can do to actually change what's happening on and off the field with the club we all love and tempers have frayed as a result over the last two years in particular. Add in that internet fora such as this one are becoming less and less popular as more and more people use things like Twitter instead and it can magnify what really should be a 'nothing' post into a major problem.
The fact is there's plenty of room for disagreement without the personal insults etc but this forum is in a way a 'safe' place to vent the upset and anger we're all feeling about our club rather than letting it into our 'real' lives. Unfortunately some of us take it too far and don't know when to stop. While I don't think sluffy is in any way perfect and I do feel he's been wrong sometimes he's far from alone in allowing molehills to become mountains.
Guys, we all and I do mean ALL have much more important things to worry about than this forum. Perhaps we can just take this back to what it was meant to be, a place to have a light hearted banter be it about BWFC, other football or even the magnificent "Brucie" who is probably tap dancing with Ginger Rodgers right now and showing Fred how it should be done.
Let's make it fun to be a nutter again.
