On a positive note, a jar of Manuka honey is arriving today, so I can review it first hand.

Do let us know how you get on with it. Smile

I'll be spreading it on bread.
As for Nat taking a swipe at us, she should know that it would only take one jar to cover me.
If she wants to try it, she'll have to go for the barrel option. Rather expensive.
That's why she prefers lard.

Eating it of course. Make do with Savlon for everything else.

Anyone remember Valderma?

I need to take a break from youTube.
I've just watched a video called 'Discover the surprising benefits of turnips'.
There must be more to retirement than this.

Is it nice?

I guess they have had to stick new zealand on the front of the jar to justify the price!

It's the real deal. Just had some on a slice of white crusty bread, with some nice Lurpak butter. Delicious.
Might have it for breakfast tomorrow, and give the porridge a rest.

It states online that it can help treat eczema and dermatitis, digestive health and soothes a sore throat and cough.

I may have to give it a whirl myself. Smile

I'll tell you what,KP, it's bloody delicious. The health benefits are a bonus. Make sure it's certified Manuka.
I've put it on my amazon subscribe and save.

I've been supping Buxton water all day. I'll getting up all night now.
Filled my hot water bottle and put it in the freezer earlier. I'll get it out later and hopefully I'll have a much cooler night. Knowing my luck though, I'll end up with frostbitten extremities. Wink

Might have oversold the Manuka honey to my old mum.

She's hired a bouncy castle.

Strangely enough, a bouncy castle turned up in the close this morning, and is now swarming with kids.
I can barely get a look in.
Someone's going to get hurt.
