Thanks mate, you'd have loved my Mum, she was hilarious. She could find humour in everything, and passed that happy trait on to us.The world knocked me down today, but over my 71 years of knowing her, she gave me the tools to get up, brush myself down, and come back laughing.

Sorry to hear about the loss of your mum, Bonce.

Really sorry to hear about your mam.

There are no words really.

It hit me more after the funeral as up to then everyone was in mourning but after that everyone went back to normal - but of course it isn't normal to you that your mam (or dad) is no longer there.

The pain eases over the years but it never truly goes away.

Someone told me (or I read it somewhere) that you never die as long as someone still has happy memories of you.

If that's the case your mam will live forever.

My condolences to you and your brother, and all your loved ones.

Woke up this morning to a world where the Wanderers aren't as important as they used to be. Everything seems off kilter.
I very much appreciate the kind words from everyone, and if I miss thanking anyone, forgive me.
Mum was never very impressed by the Whites, and her constant refrain of 'I suppose you'll be watching that lot again at the weekend', still sticks in my head.
The Wanderers were always .'That lot'.
I'll continue to watch and support 'that lot'. And I'll be back on here chatting to 'you lot' as soon as I'm able.

Take your time mate. It's never easy to go through this with all the pain and sadness it leaves. I'm sure I can say that everyone on here will be thinking of you at this awful time.

Hi Boncey, I'm really sorry to hear  the sad news about your mum.

I can't find the right words, but I do know that your mum will always be with you.

That's Mum, KP.
She was quite a looker as a girl. How my dad pulled her I'll never know.
That being said, she was always beautiful to me, right to the end.
And, once again, thanks to everyone for taking the time to comment. We all have to go through times like this, but a kind word of support is always appreciated, and the Nutters are a great bunch.

Saw Mum off on her final journey today, and everything about the service was top notch.
Big up to Houghtons Funeral Directors for their care and concern.

Went to the medical centre today for a health review. My blood pressure is A1. As a Wanderer I find that hard to credit.
On the less positive, I need to lose a stone.
