Fat, I don't think so dear.

I'll come to you, if I give you my address my GS might rip you to bits.

Totally agree, But once again he will be a boo boy and forum hate target for petty minds and gutter mouths.

This makes three donkey's in a row for captain doesn't it?  Nobby, SKD and now Zat ....you can count NRC if you like ....that would be four in a row.

Although this is no surprise it doesn't seem like a step forward....so things are as per normal at BWFC.

Whilst everyone is against the fact that Knight may be made the club captain no one has suggesed any real alternatives.  The players forever present in the team who could be the captain?

Bogdan - Not commanding enough
Wheater - Just coming back form a long lay off
Pratley - No commment
Eagles - Would anyone take him seriously
Chungy - would anyone understand him, does he speak english?  (not a racist comment a genuine question!)
Holden - As Wheater
As for forwards i am not a fan of forwards being captain, mainly due to the defence and midfield get to see far more of the game.

For me, unless we get Dawson in who will be ever present or someone else who can command from the get go then i do feel knight will be the best option.

At least he is vocal and argue the toss.

I agree, he has also been here for a few years now. I'm not a fan of making someone captain if they've only just arrived.

Zat Knight actually seems to play better when he wears the Captain's armband.

Well what about Medo or Baptiste(once rubber stamped?)

medo can be a bit of a loose cannon and a tad tempremental (as seen in the closing stages of last season) and the morale of the team and it's more established players may see a dip if a new player just came in and took the arm band.

NRC came straight in near enough and took the armband?

and proved himself to be a selfish shit by the end of it.  Which i know isn't a reflection on anyone else coming but i just think the Captain needs to be someone established who already knows the majority of players and the manager well enough to act as a go between when needed.
