Who would you have if Big Sam doesn't come back?

Dave Flitcroft anyone?

I'm pretty set on Jiminiho and Sammy Lee the dream team.

Terry Venables. Assisted by Roy Hodgson with Sven, Glenn and Fabio as coaches.

I honestly don't think Leicester will even approach us about Neil. My money's on Big Sam going there. Failing that I suspect Harry Redknapp would also be in the frame. There are some fairly big name managers out of work atm and I suspect Leicester will go for someone with Premier League experience rather than take a risk on Neil at this point in time.

Apparently Hiddink approached by Leicester!

Then again the Chuckle Brothers could help a lot with improving passing!

"To me, to you..." Very Happy

Very Happy Plus they've had years of experience watching top class football in the shape of Rotherham.

If Leicester takes Neil, I'd make do with Hiddink.

Lennon has done nothing for us - yet. Dougie would have got us into at least the position we ended up in had he stayed, probably higher IMO so Lennon has a lot to prove if he is going to show he can build a team without the cash and support of a club the size of Celtic.

In his defence, Lennon has continued to reduce the wage bill and given some of the kids a debut but that apart, the results, the tactics and some of the performances particularly towards the end of the season were dire.

To me that means two things.
1) Lennon is being talked up by the media so they can write a story of the romantic return of an ex-player to manage his old club - despite the fact that he has done nothing for us. And if he did leave us he would be adding "glory-hunting", "untrustworthy" and "QUITTER" to his CV.
2) If Lennon actually goes for this job he will clearly show that he's not up to the challenge and lacks character and tenacity to manage without a silver spoon.

I'd like to think Lennon is better than that and has some of the character that some fans assume he has.

He's started the job, made promises about what he's going to achieve and how he's going to do it and he must know that to go without achieving anything - taking us backwards in some respects by clearing the decks and not replacing players - is the sign of a first class loser.

Man up Lennon and do what you said you were going to do.

Freedman would have got us relegated and bored crowds nationwide in the process, as well as alienating BW fans and players. Attendances and therefore income would have plummeted.

Lennon started excellently but injuries and the sale of CYL blighted further progress. However, we now know a lot more about our youngsters than we ever would have done under the pretentious, deluded, illogical clown that was DF.

If NL goes, I'd have thought, like Boggers, that the ex-Watford manager might be a good bet. Failing that, Jimmy Phillips and his entourage. As a real longshot, Steve Claridge, who has an excellent knowledge of lower-league football and has done brilliantly at Salisbury.

If he went it might be worth taking a punt on Nigel Clough or Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink.
