I agree, Clough is another injury prone ponce we could do without.

Clough is our best player, plus he's only a baby and will get much better, got to be worth at least 4 Million.

Agreed we should sell but not when we have no chance of getting an adequate replacement, and not when the price is so bad for us.

Exactly, what striker could we bring in for two million to replace him?

Nixon saying we are in for Wigan left back Andrew Taylor, all well and good, but what is it with all these DEFENSIVE signings, it's clear as day we're struggling for goals.

Yes, last season we couldn't score goals but we also let in far more than we should.

Build the defence first.

We do have Madine (proven goal scorer at this level) Clough and Clayton, plus Proctor so we 'should' be ok at least for now in attack, so sort out the defence would be my priority and it looks like its Parkinson's too.

I agree. It makes sense to build from the back. Allardyce always said that if the opposition didn't score you had taken at least one point.

Well that's one thing we agree on, although Parky has said he needs more in attack.

I get the impression there are a couple of loans lined up for attack, maybe he believes we can only get the quality we need in attack by loaning from higher up the ladder.
There are supposedly 2 prem loans in the pipeline for attackers that will probably be it unless a further opportunity arises.

I'd be surprised if we got loans from premiership teams as not many would want to play in the third tier but if we do let's hope they are better than Wellie.

I think some of it comes down to relationships and hopefully Ken has some decent contacts, we are supposedly in with a good chance of 2 (one is supposedly Carayol) no idea who the other is.
