Just because Cameron was a bellend doesn't mean the Tories weren't the best party for the job. Labour left the economy in a mess and the Tories got us on the road to recovery.

Tripe.

Labour were in power when the banks needed bailing out, that's what grew the deficit and grew the economy.

You've been duped if you think it was actually because of benefits or public services, it was another lie that was repeated often enough the public actually believed it. Nick Clegg was in the press the other day saying how the government knew cutting benefits achieved nothing economically, but they knew it was a popular vote winner so ploughed ahead anyway.

Oh well, if Nick Clegg says it's true then it must be.

He was there, he's just confirming what many of us already knew.

If Nick Clegg's your star witness I think I win this round.

The only thing him and his chums gave us was the EU vote which backfired on him as he didn't think the nation would want to exit the EU.

He has probably created more poverty among the poor with his benefit cuts for the genuine vulnerable.

As others have pointed out about him leaving his kids behind at the pub the thick twat.

I won't be sad that the stupid cunt has fucked off.

Good riddance.

Hopefully Gideon fucks off as well.

Are you pissed?

(Not a criticism, by the way. You just seem a bit ranty.)

I told you at the time of benefit cuts there was no economic benefit doing it. That's proven the case, what Nick Clegg says now just reinforces that.

He was totally out of touch with people, he'd of done miles better if he had Nigel Farage as his adviser.

He's still sulking now.

Bye Dave.

Laughable that you would use Clegg to back up your claims.

He is a bitter, failed politician and anything he says is just sour grapes.

It's a bit like using Sepp Blater as a character witness at your trial for fraud.

Don't hold you're breath Glos, for that to happen you need people who have integrity, intellect and a work ethic rather than a bunch of self serving scum whose only brain exercise is the best way to fiddle their expenses.
True. Especially, as politics are now taught as a career, from school age. I feel the emphasis is no longer on serving the country, but more like serving your own agenda.
I know there are still genuine people trying to do their best, but the system is no longer geared up for them.
