Never got why they call them hamburgers when they don't contain pork though and the patty is made of beef...

When I've taken my 4 year old to McDonald's (I know Breaders, I'm a terrible father) and he asks for a hamburger in his happy meal he always asks where the ham is. Obviously I tell him that you don't get ham on a hamburger, that's just what it's called.
The next question - "why?"
My reply - "because it is".
Now I know the actual answer should I give him the full history lesson or go with the tried and trusted answer, bearing in mind he's only 4?

Popped into ASDA today to top up on toiletries,and I noticed that all the mouthwash brands claimed to be effective in killing 99.9% of bacteria.
