He's no real experience of anything. He was an average player who didn't play at the top level. You could say Di Canio is inexperienced, but he played at the top level and will have a wealth of contacts in Italy and elsewhere.

I don't think Zaha is among the world's elite for sure. I think he's potentially the difference between top 6 and bottom 6 at Championship level. This might not be the case (I'm presuming nobody here watches Crystal Palace on a weekly basis) but it's something to be wary of. It's besides the point anyhow.

It's not so much that I don't want Freedman, it's that it's an ambitious move (i.e. expensive and risky) for somebody with very few credentials.

Well I think he looks an exciting young manager. I would have him any day over JP, Appleton, McCarthy, sourness, SL, etc.

I'm amazed Micky Adams isn't in the running - done a remarkable job at Port Vale with no money whatsoever.

Why not stick with JP for the time being ? Coming back from 2-0 was unthinkable during Coyle's reign. Why not give him a bit longer ?

Id give JP more time personally.

This may seem disloyal to my club, a club i have supported since i was about 12 but why the fuck would DF want to come to Bolton or lancashire. Even as a Bolton fan i see palace as a more attractive job ,London as a better place to be.
