Fashion Style: Gay

I've noticed over the last couple of days a major trend for young men of wearing cuffed jeans or trousers with canvas shoes and no socks.

I have nothing against gay men, but I am surprised straight men are so keen to follow what is clearly a gay fashion. What sort of man wears canvas shoes?

I'm pretty sure Aaron and Doffcocker are wearing them right now.

Am I just out of touch or does this "fashion" offend you as well?

I seem to remember Doffcocker saying he wore tracksuits.

Seen a young bloke wearing canvas shoes and no socks at the Hospital this morning.
Thought it looked odd considering the weather.

My Lonsdale tracksuits were getting tatty, so I replaced them but with Adidas and Nike ones.

Shit fashion, I'm proud to say I've never done it. Tends to be chavs doing it these days I reckon.

The word 'chav' evolves. To me it means somebody that sports something that's overdone and tacky. It was first known at a time when Adidas tracksuits and Burberry was all the range, so these things have always had that label, but the tackiest, most overdone style today is in my opinion the one described in the opening post.

I think "Chav" is more about attitude and way of life rather than clothes to be honest. But you do find most will wear cheap tracksuits or will "dress" up in pink shirts and horrific chinos.

Haha, I can assure you Natasha I wouldn't be seen dead in shoes like that, and sock over your pants like that picture, you have to on something to walk around like that IMO.
