UKIP are a complete joke (yes, IMO) but they do highlight a problem to the main parties that they completely lack any sort of political talent from top to bottom. 

the fact that a party so riddled with utter clowns and no serious policies to speak of is able to take votes from the "big 3" should be very worrying to their leaders.

You can do what you want, they're never going to get in to power. If they did you certainly wouldn't benefit from it, the upper middle class would financially but that's about it.

I wouldn't really benefit if the Tories got back in, or Labour. the Tories sell everything off, and Labour is just sad.

I want a real shake up, where British people come first, where people are allowed to speak up without being called a racist.

The Tories sell everything off - What do you think UKIP would do? Farage has already been caught saying he'd like to privatise the NHS, if you're going to vote for them at least find out what they stand for (althought aside from the EU that's difficult to do with UKIP).

It's already been proven that immigrants contribute more to the economy than they take out, not to mention the 30,000 Brits claiming unemployment benefits in other EU countries at the moment.

You seem bitter towards immigration, do you blame them for being unemployed?

Christ Almighty, I saw Ed Balls on BBC News this morning - if there's a slimier toerag on the planet I'd be very surprised. And what a dick. He refused to accept that any Tory policy was the right one, and that the previous Labour government had already turned things round before the election in 2010.

I honestly don't see why Labour can't acknowledge their previous failings - surely by suggesting they "got it right" last time they were in government means they'll just repeat previous mistakes.

They should definitely acknowledge they played a part in the economic crisis - they may well have done for all I know. What Balls is saying here is a separate issue though, and not without evidence to support it. It was discussed earlier in the thread that Labours recovery was working in 2010 and austerity set it back. Obviously it's all speculative but you can see why he's arguing their recovery would have worked, the IMF and US both supported Labour's growth initiatives over Osbourne's austerity.

Impossible to say what was and wasn't working with such a small sample size, may have worked, I doubt it personally.

Ye as I said it's all speculative, but you can see the point he's arguing.
