Nothing is necessarily good news until somebody has come in and steadied the ship. I seem to remember people thinking Venkys buying Blackburn was amazing news for them, and Rovers have just been a laughing stock 99% of the time since.

As for this chap, I'm working off the premise that (unlike Tipp Ex Teeth Disley) he's already fabulously wealthy and so would have nothing to gain from asset stripping little old Bolton.

And if he wants to launder a few million through our books and we end up with some half-decent players as a result, so be it......

Somebody's going to wind up owning Bolton in a few weeks and the chances are whoever it is will be bent.

At least this guy's got a few quid.
