She's been like that for years RT. Really believes she's something special, and working hard for 'her' people, whoever they are.

I totally agree. I don't like the way she talks down to people as if she is somehow the font of all knowledge. Which she isn't.

Her relationship with Portillo is particularly nauseating.

When things were relatively quiet, Corbyn was making a little headway, but once the limelight is turned on him, everything is shown to be completely cocked up. The party is a disaster, not waiting to happen, but happening now.

That's a lack of professionalism.
In the States they vet candidates and use independent focus groups and opinion polls to assess the "public appeal" of their candidates before endorsing them.

I doubt Diane Abbott, Ken or Jeremy would pass that popularity test but they are there because instead of going for the people that will win votes (Blair being a prime example of that strategem being successful) they elect representatives who carry the most political kudos within the party - usually because they are the gobbiest or have the support of a clique.

It's all well and good to be morally or politically astute, but it means absolutely nothing if you can't get elected.

Corbyn's leader because he won a huge mandate from the Labour membership. Can't think of any fairer or more democratic way of voting in a leader.

Including thousands and thousands of people who weren't even members of the Party but were allowed to vote after paying 3 quid and registering themselves as 'supporters', most of them Tory party members. Yep, real genius was at work there wasn't it?

You're an imbecile.

Name one source that says most of the people who signed up were Tories, you've made that up to fit your own narrative (as always).

It was well established at the time that it was a tiny number and a lot got cancelled before they even had the chance to vote. 400,000 votes cast and he won 60% of them, it's a huge mandate.

it might be a huge mandate from party members but most of his own party didn't want him as leader so he will achieve nothing other than division and lead the party even further down the opinion polls.

I am a Labour voter and this saddens me, he seems like a decent chap but he shouldn't be in charge of the Party.

Get ready for 74 to call you an imbecile.

I have just seen in the news that Andy Burnham is now asking for a public enquiry for the miners at Orgreave who were allegedly abused by South Yorkshire Police during the miners strike.
Arthur Scargill will be loving this.

Absolutely not, Norpig's is a fair comment, I personally like Corbyn and believe in his policies but if he isn't going to get into power then Pig's quite right he needs to go - Thursday will reveal a lot.

However to claim he won the vote based on thousands of Torys deciding to sign up is complete and utter bollocks.

If Labour want to get elected then, they'll have to scuttle off to the overcrowded middle ground, get on their knees, and pucker up,ready for the big 'suck off'.
Not for me mate.
If the electorate don't want Socialism, then so be it. I'm only bending so far,and no more.

Have you read The Enemy Within by Seamus Milne?

Eye-watering stuff.

And well worth the money:

Yes,I've read it. Got a copy somewhere. Gave it to a mate at work to read once, and he simply brushed it off as 'shite' Gave up on him in the end.
Wonder if those GCHQ people can be trusted?
