Anyone heard the matej vydra rumour? Apparently we're after two strikers, one of them being a "big shock".

He was appalling in the play off match at Leicster last night scuffed a one on one with Schmeichal and missed another just very poor last night.Beckford scored 10 goals in his one season at Everton and 15 at Leicster City the following season.Beats the stats of all our forwards this season.Could be OK with Dougie knowing him already.

I read one tweet saying "bid in for Vydra" I'll need more than that I'm afraid.

I would like to see Beckford at Bolton. I can see why DF is looking at him too! We have needed a pacey striker to form a partnership with one of our others, so this would be a good move.

I also think we should push the boat out and try and sign Charlie Austin. We're not going to get Rhodes from Bburn, so Austin would be the next best thing! Plus it would really piss of the 6 fingered lot!

Keep bringing 'em in.....the more the merrier.

Really hope this isn't true, never been a fan of him since his Leeds days.

£1m seems steep for a 29 year old with baggage.

That said, I've always been encouraged by what I've seen from him. I think we could do worse.

They were a one off Boggers and the reality now is trying to sign players like Charlie Austin.

We've gone full circle now.

We'll get back to those days.

I'd rather have Austin then any strikers we currently posses.
